Serengeti wildebeest migration is a spectacle at any time of year, but perhaps most through the dry months of June to October, as the herds swarm off the southern plains and make their way north, tackling the crocodiles of the Grumeti River and Mara river before settling between the Serengeti’s northern plains and Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

Ngorongoro Crater in April and May, when the flowers have started to bloom throughout the highlands and most other tourists have headed home. Its a time of sporadic rain but don’t be frightened off by it, this is the time to gamedrive in the Crater and walk in the surrounding hills.

Mobile camping roaming through the Serengeti and surrounding areas, including Loliondo, Ndutu and the Gol Mountains. These areas are at their absolute best from February through to late April when the seasonal rains turn the plains into a paradise of romping wildebeest, fat & happy predators, an amazing variety of flowers and huge diversity of bird life including many northern migrants.

Trekking in search of chimpanzees in the forests of Mahale on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Based out of Greystoke camp and combined with fishing and snorkeling in the lake, this has to be one of the most spectacular wildlife experiences in Africa.

Walking and game driving in Katavi during the late dry season (September & October) when the harsh dryness forces the game to congregate close to the dwindling water sources. Whether it be thousands of buffalo, hundreds of hippo & elephant, crocodiles hiding away in riverbank caves or the brazen lion prides feeding off this plenty, this is a time of epic African game viewing.

Day2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National park. Tarangireis approximately 150 km from arusha.Picnic lunch will be provided in Tarangire followed by a game drive until dusk. Tarangire, dominated by the silhouettes of great baobab trees,is an untouched haven for wildlife and has the highest population density of elephants also wildebeest,Zebra, Eland, Kudu,Lion Cheetah, Leopard and buffalo

Day3.Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro highlands

After breakfast, the first stop will be the mto wa mbu villanga( meaning River of Mosquitoes)Visit the colourful market and be sure to tray the delicious fruit including red banana. Game viewing and lunch will taka place in Lake Manyara National park.This superb scenic park set around Lake Manyara is most famous for the tree climbing lions and large population of primate.Lake Manyara is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, marvel at the variety of species include, Flamingos, spoonbill, Pelican, teal, kingfisher, ans cormorant. Make your way from Lake Manyara National Park to the Ngorongoro highlands and observe forest monkey leap from branch to branch on the slops of Great Rift Valley escarpment while elephants huddle in the shade of the baobab trees.

Day4.Ngorongoro High lands – Serengeti National Park

After break fast at your lodge depart for Serengeti plains. Drive across the short grass plains of the Serengeti National Park with an afternoon game drive. Serengeti National Park is one of World’s greatest game park. Meaning “Endless Plains” in Masai language, the Serengeti still offers the most incredible game viewing in Africa you will see herds of herbivore, wildebeest, zebra and gazelles in migration followed by their predators. lion, cheetah, leopard and hyenas. Spend some time at the watering holes watching family of hippos, watch from underneath a tree with leopards abouve only short distance away or watch giraffers gracefully cross this massive park. Day7:Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro Highlands

Descend back in time as you make your way down into the ngorongoro crater flow, Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Wonders of the Natural World. An extinct volcano that collapsed around 25 million years ago,thus forming a vast ‘super bowl’ where the largest permanent – resident concentration of Africa game is on display. Enjoy the home of the magnificent wildlife population within the crater as you descend into this paradise of ecosystems including woodland,lake,river,swamp,forest and plains. Largest grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, Zebra and antelopes cover the grasslands. The herds attract predators includes the black maned Lion, leopard, cheetah and hyenas.
